Patrick seems like a world of contradictions, but it is not. He has always been amazed by various things, events in the world and simply had many interests.

Born in Huy near Liège, he is originally from Wallonia. This was in 1956. After three years the family moved to Zwijndrecht, where he became Flemish and spent his youth as a student at St-Thomas College and as a football player at Sparta Zwijndrecht. At the same time he had a special interest in singing and guitar. After his secondary education he went to study in Brussels and therefore became a bit of a Brussels resident because he lived there for several years.

After his studies, he started a career in banking for 25 years. During this period he continued his studies with evening classes for Insurance Broker, Bachelor of Accounting, Postgraduate in Succession and Executive Master of Personal Financial Planning.

During this 25-year period he ran several (fast) marathons and trained mainly for the quarter triathlon at the end of his physical career.

He was successful after his banking career as an independent insurance broker with his company @Insurance, which he later transformed into @Prometheus to fully focus on his specialty as an investment specialist and as a Master of Personal Financial Planning.
